We are honored to welcome Mr. Jerry McWithey as our keynote for Let’s Take Flight 2017!
Jerry is the Director of Flight Operations at Insitu, Inc. Insitu designs, develops and manufactures customized unmanned hardware, software and services solutions for commercial, government and defense customers worldwide. Founded in 1994, Insitu is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, located in nearby Bingen, WA.
Jerry’s inspiring personal story includes service to our country as CO/XO US Navy Electronic Attack Squadron 135; Operations Ocer on the USS Kittyhawk out of Yokosuka, Japan; CNE Director of Logistics, N4, in the United Kingdom; and Commanding Ocer at NAS Kingsville, Kingsville Texas.
In November 1997 Commander Jerry "Stump" McWithey became a member of the Grand Club honoring Naval Aviators who have more than 1,000 carrier arrested landings.
Jerry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a graduate of the US Navy Test Pilot School.
Jerry and his wife Diane are longtime residents of Clark County, and between them have made, and continue to make, significant contributions to our local community and the nation.
